FAQ
-
What size dumpsters do you offer?
We offer TWO roll-off sizes designed for residential, commercial, and construction projects.
Current options include:
• 14 yard bins for household cleanouts and small jobs.
• 22 yard bins for remodels and medium construction.
-
How long is the standard rental period?
A standard rental can include 1/3/5 or 7 days. Additional days can be added for a daily extension fee.
-
How do rental extensions work?
You can extend any rental for $15 per additional day (Up to 3 days), as long as the bin is available. Extensions apply after your chosen rental window ends.
-
What happens if I need to keep the dumpster longer?
• Contact us before your rental ends.
• A daily extension fee will be added to your invoice.
• Your extension is confirmed once payment is made.
-
What is a swap-out?
A swap-out is when:
1. We pick up your full bin.
2. We drop a new empty bin on the same trip.
The fee covers the service only. Tonnage charges are billed separately.
-
What happens if I load above the rim?
For safety and legal reasons, loads MUST be level with the top of the bin. If the bin is overfilled:
• You may be charged a reload fee to re-balance the load.
• You may be charged a return trip fee if we cannot safely haul the bin.
• In extreme cases, service may be refused until corrected.
-
How do dump fees work?
Each dumpster includes a tonnage allowance (1-2 tons is standard unless otherwise stated). Anything over that is billed at the current per-ton dump rate.
-
Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?
No. As long as:
• The drop location is clearly marked, and
• The area is accessible for our truck and trailer
We can deliver and pick up without you being present.
-
What areas do you serve?
We service Corbin, London, Williamsburg, Barbourville, and surrounding southeast Kentucky communities. Additional travel fees may apply for out-of-area locations.
-
How much space is required for a dumpster?
You’ll need:
• A flat area about the size of a parking spot
• A minimum of 50 feet of straight clearance for our roll-off truck and trailer
• No low-hanging wires or tree limbs
-
What payment methods do you accept
We accept:
• Credit/debit cards
• Cash
• Digital payments
Payment is required before delivery.
-
What if my driveway or property gets damaged?
We take every precaution to prevent damage, but customers are responsible for protecting surfaces. Plywood is recommended under the bin for soft ground, asphalt, or newly poured concrete.
-
Does renting longer mean more included tonnage?
No. Included tonnage stays the same for all rental windows. Extra tonnage is billed at $125 per ton based on landfill scale weights.
-
How is overweight waste billed?
The landfill weighs your load. Anything above your included tonnage is charged at $125 per additional ton. e.g., if your rental includes 1.5 ton and the landfill ticket comes out to 2.15 tons of waste. You would be charged for 0.65 tons at the $125/ton rate. 0.65 * $125 = $81.25 in overage
-
Can I switch to a long-term rental?
Yes, if the bin is available, contact ProGrade before your rental period ends and we can convert your rental and adjust pricing.
-
Does the rental reset with a swap-out?
No, a dumpster swap does not reset the rental period. Instead, it is part of the same rental agreement and is treated as a new order for billing and tracking purposes.
